Dune: Part Two - Ambush

Working on this project has been one of the highlights of my career. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to contribute to such a visually stunning film.

As the Lead for this sequence, my team and I were responsible for set-dressing the dunes surrounding the spice harvester and the ornithopter. Our goal was to ensure that the contact points between the harvester’s legs and the ground seamlessly matched the terrain’s topology.

While it might seem straightforward since it’s just sand, the real challenge lay in making the sand appear as realistic as possible and maintaining consistency throughout the entire sequence.
